morning coffee

this painting was just done at its second layer, but I already managed to put the light and dark area. the picture was taken from imported magazine. why I took my resource from magazine, first I didn’t have guts to paint from a real model yet because I’m afraid the result would be so different from the model, and secondly it easier to paint from a painting or a picture rather than a real live model.

morning at prambanan temple

I took this picture from jogja magazine, but this painting wasn’t finished yet but I’d already fallen in love with it.

the kebaya which was wear by the girl should have a transparent silhouette, although I’d never tried to paint like it before, and it’s the first time I try to paint the sky with clouds. so I like this painting cause I love to try some thing new.

into the light

when I wanted to learn more about lighting, I choose this painting because it had a good source of light and the direction of the light was came from 45 degrees, just like the light in the morning, and it’s my 4th painting.

this is my first painting, my teacher said your first painting would have the same face like the painter. well, did she look like me? I don’t know about it, but the gloomy face showed my mood when I was painting it, because I was so stressed out!

woman in red

this painting was my second painting, the difficulty of this painting was the position of her hand,  I had to concentrate at the neck, arms and fingers. I thought I never done this painting but after a lot of trying and practicing then I can enjoy the result.

sunset girl

This is the biggest paint I ever done yet, it is 90cm tall and 120cm wide, it took about 2 month for me to finish this paint.

I felt every exhausted but I was satisfied with the result. the background of the actual painting was the borobudur temple, but I changed it with the balinese temple
